So, I don't even know where to start.

Have not been doing well the past few weeks, just feeling increasingly crappy, more air hunger, dizziness, nausea/stomach cramping.

Saw LLMD Wednesday last week, he took me off Ceftin/Malarone combo and put me on Minocycline and Rifampin.

Started the new meds on THursday.

Saturday we spent the whole freakin' day walking around an amusement park in 90 degree temps--not my choice of entertainment.

Just to note, I started having panic attack feelings on the way into the park, don't know if it was the crowds or what.

Came home with a headache on right side of head, in my temple. Didn't sleep well at all.

Woke up with headache in temple, pain in my right eye socket, watery eye, watery nose, nausea, and just didn't want to move.

Got up anyway and went to church--felt a spiritual need to be there. THe sickness came and went in waves. Just when I thought it had passed, it would return.

Came home and laid down a bit, then ate lunch and took a half dose of my Mino.

Not long after that, I was hit with nausea and stomach pain, felt like I would throw up. I laid completely motionless for a couple hours till it passed.

Nausea went away, but I still feel crappy in the head.

I can't tell if I have a migraine, a med reaction, a virus, a brain tumor, or what. I feel HORRIBLE. I swear I spent half the night praying I wouldn't die and half the night praying I would.

I just can't take this anymore. I was doing well, and all of a sudden I'm sick again.

What does scare me is that I got a mosquito bite Friday night--yes, a mosquito bite, not a tick. So of course, optimist that I am, I started wondering if I contracted West Nile. [Razz]

Forgot to mention I also had echoing in my ears last night, bad enough to knock me off balance and bring on some anxiety.

My jaw was also very tight and painful--I was hoping that was causing all the issues, but I doubt it.

Just made supper for the family; I can't even eat it. The sight of the food just turns my stomach.

it sounds like bart, I have the same symptoms, have had bart for 25 years and just starting treating 3 years ago.

Rifampin and minocy are powerful, they caused huge herxes with me but the rifampin did wonders for my bart, that is one drug that hits my bart

I am having all those symptoms right now, I can barely type my hands are shaking so,

Try to do things to detox-lemon water epsom salt bath, dry skin brushing, etc. I don't think you have west nile, but bartonella-this is only my opinion, I am not a doctor, just a long time sufferer.

It could be Lyme and Cos but it also could be you're over doing it. I'm home w/ a nasty headache myself. I spent all last week volunteering at the VBS and working 6 hours a day none stop so I did NOT have time to do any detoxing. By Friday I started to feel really yucky and today I'm out of commission. I know I over did it. So it will take a week or two to recover from this.

Thanks for the advice, sorry you're feeling so crappy right now too.

I have the phone number for a naturalist that I'm going to contact tomorrow. I'm tired of being either plateaued or going backwards; I want to see if this guy can help me.
