Didn't do anything for me that I could tell. I had trouble with the green ones, they gave me an upset stomach, probably because they have barley bran and I was sensitive to gluten.

I have a friend who swears by them.

As with anything, I think it's good for some and does nothing for others.

Any other suggestions on how to get a good gluten free vitamin into my child?

He's not a good veggie eater. [Frown]

Pyramids are illegal so it is NOT a scam. Juice Plus has been around for years and years.

When you find one, momintexas ... let me know about it. I would like one too.

Why not try juicing. Then you are getting the real thing. I make lots of yummy juices and smoothies for my kids... good way to hide veggies of all sorts!

I have the Jack Lalane. You can put in whole fruits and veggies. It's easy to clean too. I have had it for years.

You have to make it, then drink it because it does not keep for long. Something about the way it juices, the vitamins and minerals are only good for 10-20 minutes.

Vitacost sells a similar product for much less called Natures Way Orchard Fruits and Vegetables.

I don't think these are recommended to help you feel better symptom wise, they are more for overall health and recommended for healthy individuals as well.

The Alive multivitamins are great as well.

Pyramid schemes are illegal, multi-level marketing is not, that's why they're saying it's not a pyramid scheme. Pyramid schemes usually don't have anything to do with selling a product.

I did juice plus a few years back, I did not notice a difference.
It is kind of pricey.

I do know they wanted me to sign up as a distributor because then I was supposed to sign people up under me and get a commission type check. I had only one person under me and I got a big 8 dollar check once a month.

They may do it differently now.

There are pros and cons... for sick people like us my Naturopath said I would have to take 12 green and 12 red a day for it to be useful. I just cannot swallow on more pill let alone 24 more! Besides, at that volume it would cost an arm and a leg!

BUT it's a great option if you're traveling and can't eat well or can't juice. Additionally, when you juice you will only use 4-5 fruits/veggies where as JP has way more in each pill. So right now only hubby and the kids take them... I juice instead... but I will take them when I go on the road.

We also tried Alive but that's not as potent as JP.

I thought the Juice Plus were ineffective. Seemed like a scam to me in the long run. My X doctor actually recommended them. Figures...

There are better options out there. Fresh juice or eating fruit & veggies is better if possible. Mercola had a good article about spirulina the other day. That may be good to try. I sort of forgot about it.

I agree and I do juice/eat plenty daily. But Juice Plus is a GREAT alternative for when you are not at home (traveling) and don't eat well or can't juice! Also, not everyone can tolerate drinking volume of juice and even if they can it's very hard eat/drink a wide variety of fruits and veggies recommended on a daily basis.

Please don't slam a product if you have not tried it. These work great for our family. We started our girls on them 2 years ago and immediately noticed that they did not catch all the bugs that were going around! My sister in law saw this and put her son on it. And last winter was the first winter he did NOT get sick at all. Compare to the winter before he missed 3 months of school and was hospitalized 3 times total due to various complications from cold/flu. So in our case it has works very well for us.

Disclaimer: I do NOT work for Juice Plus, I do not sell them nor do I own any of their stocks... I just buy them from a friend of a friend!
