Your doctor will get the results in 2-3 weeks, if it is the WB test. I'm not sure if the other tests take any longer.

sick, can you delete the 4 extra identical posts, please?
That will keep more posts on the first page. Thanks.

We got ours in Ohio in under 3 weeks. If you call them they will let you know if it has been sent to your doctor or not.
With my sickest I couldn't wait and would call everyday after 2 weeks. The day it was ready the lady at IgeneX I could actually hear faxing it to my doctor. Then I drove to the doctor's office and got a copy from the nurse.

Ktkdommer - What tests did you order? If I'm going to do this, I want to make sure I have all the tests I need. I have been having symptoms for 3 years without a positive diagnois. I need to know if this is what I have and then get on with my life - one way or the other!
Also the CDC says not to use "alternative testing", which I guess they are referring to Igenex and similar labs - but, how can it hurt? Was Igenex the ones that gave you a positive result and what are you doing now to help it?

zsa zsa;
For lyme one only needs their basic pannel which is $200.
But then your LLMD may add other tests for co infections such as Babs and Bart.
As for getting on with your life obtaining a lyme diagnosis is only the beginning of a long journey to wellness.
I have not come accross anyone who has advanced to "chronic" cured in less than the CDC's maximuum 4 months.
I know my daughter is now in month 14 and we still have a ways to go.

Pay no mind to the CDC! Seriously. If you want to get to the bottom of things and actually get on the right path, it is time to start just ignoring what they say in regards to lyme. They are on the wrong side in this fight.

that's why Lyme-treating doctors treat clinically, by history and symptoms.
Sometimes people test positive after doing some treatment, when their bodies are strong enough to mount an antibody response.

sick, don't worry. Somebody already deleted them. Maybe it was the moderators.
Your post was showing up as 5 identical, individual posts.
I don't know how that happens. Maybe it happens if you hold down the "post" button too long. Just guessing.

When my LLND had me send a blood sample to IGeneX for the basic Lyme and the co-infections tests, she told me 2 to 3 weeks. After 4 weeks I contacted her and she then had to contact them to get the results faxed to her. I have no idea where the breakdown was and why it wasn't sent sooner.
