I've been having a lot of intense GI symptoms recently and my doctor thinks I have either stomach yeast overgrowth or clostridium difficile which is a bacterial infection of the gut.

I've stopped antibiotics for a while and the GI symptoms have improved some but are still present. Trying to figure out what exactly the problem is so I can correct it with the proper treatment.

Anyone know of a way to tell if it's yeast or not? I would get tested but i don't think i can afford it.

Testing is pretty flawed. Go on the diet and ask for some Diflucan. You will know within days if you are on the right track.

I hope you are on high quality probiotics.

Excellent probiotics:

Theralac

Whatever you take, take at least 100 billion CFU's per day. Wish someone had told me that 10 yrs ago!
