My son was having gum pain and his teeth were getting loose. He went to the dentist and got no relief. I had him coat his gums with Aloe and only modist improvement if any. He also took ALA and NAC as recommended for H Pylori.
He was really getting scared about losing some teeth! So I had him brush his teeth and swish around with MMS.
I took 6 drops and activated it with citric acid. I then added 3 to 4 ounces of filtered water to cut the strong taste.
Two days in a row and his mouth felt much better. He does this now a couple times a week. His pain is mostly good and his teeth have tightened up. We started this about 2 1/2 weeks ago so I cannot say this is permanent but we could not find anything to work and this seemed to work on contact.
I know there are major concerns from some about MMS but we did a modest amount and cut it with filtered water.
I take it nightly before bed and it seems to work but I have a very strong stomach. Some on the site are very sensitive to it.
So if you think this might help start out with one or two drops and see if it works. You can always work up from there.

You can have a bacterial infection in the gums. There is a dental spirochete that is found in the mouth.
I used CoQ 10 when I had gum disease and it helped a lot! I had to stop when I started babesia treatment because it undermines mepron.
Gum disease is a widespread problem that is associated with swelling, bleeding, pain, and redness of the gums. Clinical studies show that people with gum disease tend to have low levels of CoQ10 in their gums. In a few clinical studies involving small numbers of subjects, CoQ10 supplements caused faster healing and tissue repair. CoQ10 is used in mouth rinse products for this condition. Additional studies in humans are needed to evaluate the effectiveness of CoQ10 when used together with traditional therapy for periodontal disease.

My teeth improved a lot with lyme treatment but I'm not sure if it's due to antibiotics killing a bacteria in the mouth or lyme or one of the co-infections causing the problem.
Flossing daily helps a LOT with gum disease. Also having teeth cleaned regularly and brushing at least 2X per day. There is a special cleaning that dentists can do that cleans under the gums. I've had it done 2X. It can help to tighten up loose teeth.

ONe thing about the MMS: I don't know what the ph is after you activate with citric acid, but if it is acid, beware of damaging the enamel on your teeth. Maybe to counteract that, use baking soda and water in the mouth, a bit afterwards.
I inadvertently ruined my teeth enamel by using apple cider vinegar and powdered vitamin c in water too many times (not together). Now I'm needing tons of dental work as a result. NOT GOOD!

That is can be a problem with MMS. I have my son brush w/ MMS, swish, and then brush with Tom's and gargle with no alcohol listerine.
Apparently it is killing the bacteria in the month since the pain and discomfort is now minimal but brushing right afterward is important.
There is a new tooth paste that Dr Rowin is crowing about that contains seanol (korean seaweed extract). This also looks to be antibiotic but I have not tried it. You can get it on Ebay for about $10/tube. Does not appear to have any side effects like the MMS could.
That will probably be my next step. Now that we got the bacteria knocked down, how can we maintain the healthy environment without 3 weekly doses of MMS.
One last idea is Tea Tree Oil. My hygienist said that one of her patients was having gum problems and now after 6 months of use her gums look great. I have not done any research so all antidotal but worth a couple search cylces. I thought it was mostly antifugal but what do I know.

Im going to try to swish with grapefruit seed extract and see if that helps and try the coq10 again.
I think its bart because mine gets worse whenever I start a bart med (Bactrim and Rifampin) I also get a burning sensation on my skin. F-in bart!

CoQ10 is supposed to be the best supplement to treat gum disease (and heart disease which is often related to gum disease).
Babesia can cause it too. I had so many cavities when I went to the dentist it was startling. My gums were not that great either.
Someone on here suggested I get the water pik because it does such a good job of cleaning around the teeth and massaging the gums. It is much easier than flossing. I would recommend you also try it and use it with a mouthwash to really get at the infections.

Bart can cause major problems with Inflamed Gums
There are pictures of cats and dogs online infected with bart and their gums are inflamed and turn different colors
My Gums hurt so bad yesterday that I could not eat
My doc just started me on treatment for bart 3 weeks ago
I think the treatment is attacking the bart in my mouth causing the pain
I also gargle with tummeric and sea salt, and brush after every meal and floss daily
This pain in my teeth and gums was severe yesterday and it felt like it was deep into the bone underneath the gums

One big thing some of you may be overlooking is folic acid deficiency. Jamers mentioned his gums being more red and irritated while on bactrim. That is one of the meds which deplete folic acid -- that is how it tries to kill babesia -- by depriving the parasite of folic acid. Daraprim is a much stronger folic acid depleter and most docs know to prescribe extra folic acid with that one.
