I have heard many people say the coffee enema has helped them immensely with cleansing parasites. My question is, how do you do it? And what have your own personal experiences been?

Thanks [Smile]

I did many of them. They do not help with parasites. What they do is help your liver and help your body to produce more gluathione. I found great benefit from them, but they do not help with parasites.

I don't even like to drink coffee! And I really don't like enemas, I can't imagine them together... [Eek!]

LOL... I don't drink coffee either and the coffee enemas were very hard for me to do. It worked wonders though... so I literally had a love hate relationship w/ the thing. Can't do it anymore though I developed some sensitivity to it. Castor oil packs are much more relaxing and equally effective!

If you are sensitive to caffeine (like I am with Lyme for some reason) you will be very jittery. It does get absorbed into the blood stream. Other than that I see no reason not to do them.

Thanks for the link, Lymetoo! [Smile]

Even if they don't help with parasites, you can never detox enough so I may give them a try. This is something I never would have considered doing a couple months ago but after having adopted some other "alternative" treatments recommended by my LLMD or users on this site, I don't think it's that bad anymore. Plus it's a whole lot cheaper than a lot of other forms of detox!

After reading the posts on that other thread, I'm still not sure what length tube is best to use. Is it better to start short and then increase? What are you most comfortable using?

Jamers,

I went beyond jittery. I nearly fainted!! I just don't really want to risk blacking out while on the throne and have the EMT find me in such undignified position!!

You're welcome, Satya!

Good to know, scorpiogirl! I don't think my heart could take it either then, if it's that bad.

Just put less coffee grounds in the mixture to dilute it if you feel jittery.

Does anyone know if using distilled water for this enema is absolutely crucial? I have all the proper supplies to do a coffee enema excluding the distilled water.

Would it be terrible if I used the water from my filter pitcher that I drink all the time? Just curious..

I think filtered water is fine. That's what I have used, and was suggested by my doctor, I believe. Honestly, it hadn't occurred to me to use distilled.

I also use RO water, but I add trace minerals to make it more natural. I would guess that de-mineralized water might suck out more minerals from your system.
