Me again, sorry-still on my own until I get in to see new LLMD and am feeling like jumping into the Hudson!! :/

I read somewhere that a woman said she was finally cured Bartonella with only Omnicef (Cefdnir) and Zithromycin. I know Cefdnir/Omnicef is supposedly only for Lyme.
But asking if anyone out there have every had Cefdnir touch Bart or Babs?
Also, Has anyone had bad experience with Valtrex?
It's an anitviral & just because I had extremely high IGg numbers for Parvo b19, one doc prescribed Valtrex but I never took it because I thought IGg meant "had past infection"

Also, Plaquenil supposedly is prescribed to help the Zithro work better, but has anyone heard of Plaquenil alone attacking Babesiosis?

So many questions - thank you for any input or experiences with these - especially the Omnicef question.

I've been on Valtrex for a few years due to chronic EBV. My levels for current infection just go up real high every few months it seems, although I'm pretty sure he can only test for it fully every year. My llmd told me Valtrex does not kill EBV but "holds it back"..fyi.
He gave me the name of a supplement that supposedly kills virus, it's called Amazon AV. The website is www.rain-tree.com.

I am just a bit skeptical due to trying other expensive supplements and finding no relief. One I can think of off hand is Olive Leaf. I never noticed my EBV improving with that..

The Amazon AV is about $90 per month, so I haven't ordered it yet..just trying to keep all my regular prescriptions going for now, and my daughters, she actually has more than I do.

Best of luck to you!
I'd like to treat Bart too, and see if it would help..maybe soon.
