Hi all,

I read posts that seem to mainly deal with physical symptoms but what about neuro only?
My son (20) has had lyme, only neurological, nothing physical since 12/09. Being treated by LLMD since but he's no better yet....still trying.
He's so bad that we can't ask him questions about anything; how he feels, how is a med working, does something hurt/feel better..he doesn't speak..can't seem to understand the question or can't get out the answer, we're not sure.

My question:
Does all that pertains to physical sysmptoms OK to do for neurological?
For neurological symptoms only does:

foot baths work
lemon water
particular meds
diet, no sugar?

any help would be appreciated.

thanks
his Mom

Yes, the lyme treatment is the same. The lemon water is for detoxifying no matter what type of symptoms, the diet is to keep yeast away since the antibiotics will cause yeast, etc. So, yes, it is all the same no matter if the symptoms are just neuro.

However, if the brain is affected that badly, then I would be sure I had a top notch doctor who also knows to do heavy metal testing and other special tests to determine why the brain is so affected and what to do about it.

There's a top notch lyme doc in NY state who does this for cases like his.

I am sorry to hear about your son having so many issues.

Maybe this will help you to understand what is going on. I know it is frustrating for most families and I send hugs your way.

Look at the very bottom of the page to see the list of neuro/psych articles.

Good luck!
