I would like to say Hi to everyone!!! I am currently taking 4,000 mg of amoxl. a day because my lyme has come back FULL FORCE and I feel I've been hit by a truck. Anyhow does not seem to be working , I have a wonderful PCP who works with me. Has anyone found a med that works for them? I am going to get the Activated Charcoal and apple pectin too. Please help! Getting very frustrated here

some pcp really care and want to treat lyme but I would advise you if at all possible to get a really LLMD who will know the ins and outs of Lyme and CoInfections.

I have seen a LLMD in the past, and this is how I knew I have it.

Look into treating for parasites which can be a co-infection of Lyme. Do a search on here for parasites and google parasite symptoms.

Do you have con-infections? Did you take a cyst-buster for Lyme? How long did you treat?

All these can play a part in if you relapse. Knowing these could help us give you advice.

Bicillin LA injections worked for me like nothing else with the Lyme, I do them 3x a week. Make sure to check for co infections too.

I have treated for years off and on. I did not take anything for Cyst-buster I actually have no idea what that is. As I can remember I do not have any Co-infections with the lyme. However my memory is not what it used to be! I would have to dig out my paper work.

It is very unusual NOT to have co-infections. The testing is notoriously inaccurate.

Could you list your symptoms? That would help.

Sorry about your relapse. It's the nature of the disease. You will get through this round, too.

Sorry to see you back here!!!

You're bound to have coinfections, esp since you have relapsed.
