On Monday of this week I took a single malarone tablet and within one and one-half hours I noticed a pinkish color of the urine. I checked a dipstick and the urine was heme + but negative for everything else including protein and wbc's
etc. Then I checked out malarone side effects and could not see a problem like this anywhere. So then I searched on Babesia and hematuria and
there it was-- a reference to hematuria in cows with Babesia (bovis).

My question-- has anyone else who was treated for babesia had this pink urine and or hematuria?

Yes Lymetoo,
I take 2500 mcg of B12 sublingual everyday and have done so for several months. Does B12 turn urine pink or red when taken orally?
