Hope everyone is hanging in there.

I have a Hernia scheduled in September and am concerned. They insert a screen as part of the procedure. Does anyone know if there are any issues having this screen in the body? Anyone with lyme have experience with this type of surgery?

Google "meshoma".

I would never want to have a plastic mesh. I think the failure rate is 30%. My mom had one and ended up with chronic pain, got it removed, and now needs another surgery.
