Saw a naturalist for the first time today, and I won't get into everything he did and told me.
But he did put me on a bunch of supplements and stuff. The stuff I just took at supper is from Standard Process: Catalyn (looks to be a multivitamin), Cataplex C (Calcium & Vitamin C), and Adrenal Dessicated (Calcium, bovine adrenal and carrot root).
THey're all whole food supplements, which I usually don't take.
I took it about an hour ago, and the smell of the tablets even coming out of the bottle was just gross to me. Now I'm sitting here feeling very nauseous, like I may throw up, and shaky.
Anyone know if this is common, or if I just made myself sick reading the labels. Or maybe it's something else entirely?
I really don't want to have to not take this stuff after paying a fortune for it. Posts: 303 | From Pennsylvania | Registered: Jul 2010

We never, ever take more than one thing at a time around here. Why don't you just start over with one of the supplements and take it for about 4-5 days and see how you do?
Then you can add in the next one, and so on..
We got four new things from the doctor last Monday, and my daughter has only taken two of them so far. We will add in another one in a day or so.
In this manner, you will know what is giving you a problem. Also, if it's something that's giving you a herx, you can give your body time to adjust.

My daughter has taken several of Standard Process supps, without any additional nausea. But...she has had constant nausea since the beginning before any treatment.

I hear you... I have a hard time with all the supplements too. And I started mine one at a time... but still over time there are just too many pills to swallow! It got to a point that all I have to do is to look at the bottle and I want to barf! So I stopped taking 3 at this point. I can't wait until the day I don't have to swallow another pill!

It must have been something I ate yesterday, because I had no trouble at all with the stuff today.
I talked to the naturalist (HE actually called ME this morning just to check to see how I was doing!) He said it was more likely I was reacting to the Berberine he gave me for the lyme. He warned me that I would definitely feel worse before I felt better.
