No experience yet. I really want one though, just waiting to see if I can afford it.

This is the one I ordered and LOVE it. I lay down and my head is out or my arms if I get too hot. Ships from FLorida and I got the $249 one. Well worth it!

I have one. Love it. Best $200.00 I have spent since being diagnosed in 2003. Use it nearly every day.

canefan17; That is the one I have. My first one so I have nothing to compare it to but I do love it. Settings 1-5 allow for some variation in temp. I feel a nice slow deep internal heating...
I am at level 3 for 30 minutes now and find that it really, really helps when I am feeling toxic overload.
Yes, I have lost weight since using it but that is not something I want. There is some research that show a 30 minute IR session can burn 300-600 calories - and it is not just water weight.
I have to increase my calories by about 500 on days that I use it or my weight will drop too low.

I bought that exact same unit and just got it today. Within the first 5 minutes I had a mishap and got injured. DON'T use the little stool that comes with the unit. Within a few minutes, the stool collapsed underneath me, literally bent in half, and I fell backward and the unit collapsed on top of me and burnt my arm. I was laying on the ground with the hot unit on top of me and was lucky I was finally able to zip myself out, otherwise I probably would have suffocated. I am a 180 pound guy, so I don't really consider myself too big. I'm lucky I didn't get hurt any worse than I did. I'm sure it would have worked just fine if it wasn't for the flimsy child-sized stool they send with it.
If you get this one, read the directions...they are hilarious! Very poorly translated to English and the mistakes will give you a very good laugh.

It sure help my muscle pain. And it does seem to help with weight, water retention.
