This is the one I ordered and LOVE it. I lay down and my head is out or my arms if I get too hot. Ships from FLorida and I got the $249 one. Well worth it!

I have one. Love it. Best $200.00 I have spent since being diagnosed in 2003. Use it nearly every day.

canefan17; That is the one I have. My first one so I have nothing to compare it to but I do love it. Settings 1-5 allow for some variation in temp. I feel a nice slow deep internal heating...

I am at level 3 for 30 minutes now and find that it really, really helps when I am feeling toxic overload.

Yes, I have lost weight since using it but that is not something I want. There is some research that show a 30 minute IR session can burn 300-600 calories - and it is not just water weight.

I have to increase my calories by about 500 on days that I use it or my weight will drop too low.

If you have a picc or a port in, can you go in an infrared sauna?

I bought that exact same unit and just got it today. Within the first 5 minutes I had a mishap and got injured. DON'T use the little stool that comes with the unit. Within a few minutes, the stool collapsed underneath me, literally bent in half, and I fell backward and the unit collapsed on top of me and burnt my arm. I was laying on the ground with the hot unit on top of me and was lucky I was finally able to zip myself out, otherwise I probably would have suffocated. I am a 180 pound guy, so I don't really consider myself too big. I'm lucky I didn't get hurt any worse than I did. I'm sure it would have worked just fine if it wasn't for the flimsy child-sized stool they send with it.

If you get this one, read the directions...they are hilarious! Very poorly translated to English and the mistakes will give you a very good laugh.

Oh my gosh, kj, and there you were, captive inside it. Not cool.

I think the ones at the health expos always have regular chairs in them.

I have one similar to this (just a tad different) and I've been using it for 4 to 5 years with great results.

I ordered a new one and it's been shippee but not delivered.

This is the one I ordered:

Except when the weather is hot/warm I used it up to 4 to 5 times per week, 45 minutes at full blast (mine goes to 140 degrees)

HI Jeffinca, Its bee a while ago. I think I left it out a couple of weeks.

You will know when its less toxic. Best to ramp up on time at first, drink water and be sure ur getting enough minerals.

It sure help my muscle pain. And it does seem to help with weight, water retention. [Smile]
