Now that I am learning more about Lyme I am wondering if my kids have it too.
I am sure I have probably had it for maybe 15 years or more. Can it cross the placents and/ be transferred in the breast milk?
I have 2 boys 8 and 11. They both have joint symptoms. The 8 year old get bad fatique attacks and the 11 year old just "goes off" for no reason sometimes and has since he was a baby.

Yes to both, the placenta and breast milk. Many children become infected in this way.
It's probably best to have your children checked out by an LLMD. What you describe is not uncommon with children who have lyme.

Wow! Thanks. Gosh this is a lot to take in.
Can it be transmitted sexually? I wonder if my husband has it also.
I see your screen name is "Abxnomore". Is that because you were able to cure your lyme without antibiotics? If so what did you do?

Yes! My 10 yo daughter got lyme this way. I didn't know I was sick when she was born, but when I found out it was lyme, and had her tested she was + through Igenex. She was treated with 30 days abx. Later she showed more sx, at around 5, and then we retested her at Labcorp. She was CDC + and has had tx ever since.

There are many who feel that it can be sexually transmitted, including some LLMD's, and the spirochete has been found in semen.
However, there is no definitive conclusion about sexual transmission thou given that the spirochete is the cousin to syphilis it sure seems plausible to me.
Yes that is exactly what my screen name means. I did an experimental treatment in Italy using a intra-cellular heat treatment called ICHT in 2003 which is no longer available, but I have been symptom free ever since.
I did use heavy doses of both oral and IV antibiotics, and babesia meds before doing the treatment.
