A few days before my period, my muscle spasms increase to the point I can barely walk. What can I take to lessen the severity of the spasms while I PMS?
I did find a LLMD but I do not have an appointment yet, I am on a waiting list.
Thank you advance and stay safe during Hurricane Irene.

Magnesium + Vitamin B6 can help. Adequate hydration and electrolyte intake (electrolytes = potassium, magnesium, calcium, sodium, phosphorus, chloride) Epsom salt bath soaks also can help. I use a heating bad when muscle cramps get really bad.
Homeopathic Cuprum Met. is also really helpful for skeletal muscle cramps (doesn't work for smooth muscle spasms).
