I went through Minocycline and Levaquin for 6 months ended up with systemic yeast.. now, 95lbs. and feel weak, loss of appetite, just want to give up, watery eyes, ankle and feet painful. Twitches and slight tremors with doctor a month ago wanting to put me on Rocephin but I refused due to the yeast. Now what do I do? Can I go to a hospital and tell them what I think it is....my anxiety is off the charts. I do take pain meds and anxiety meds. I feel like I am slowly dying. Depression...I thought I was done with lyme and just fighting with yeast. Just got off Nizoral for a month and no antibiotics for 2 months. Thanks for any advice.

Maybe you could give A-Bart a try. I was on that and was starting to feel really good, but had to stop due to rashes and bruising and my platelet count went way down, so off all meds now.

Docs believe the platelet drop is from the Rifampin, but until sure, I'm off everything. Once platelets are back up, I'm going to try the A-Bart again.

For anxiety, Yoga, L-Theanine, and an occasional Lorazepam when needed seems to work well for me.

I believe magnesium would help with the twitches.

You might also want to take or up your dose if you already take Vitamin D3. I take about 5000 IU a day. I truly believe it has helped me with the "lead suit" feeling, so maybe it would help with the weakness.

Of course, I am not a doctor and do not know your situation so do some research and talk with you doctor first.

Good Luck! Keep looking - something is out there that will help you.

You can't get anywhere with this illness plagued with yeast. They all probably hide in the same damn biofilms. Here's how I got rid of mine (even today, while taking abx I still have none)

Avoid sugar

1/4 cup bragg's apple cider vinegar daily. Buffer it with 1/2 tsp baking soda so it doesn't toast your tooth enamel.

Psyllium husk powder 1-3 times a day in water to scrub the colon (yeast loves it there).

rebuild with VSL #3 probiotics, 1/2 packet a day is usually enough.

Thanks for the advice, I take VSL#3 DS and a full packet and apple cider vinagar but not psylllium. I have colon cleanser that i use once and awhile but I was on Ketaconazole for a month and just got off and feel terrible like it is coming right back full force. My son has it too. I am just drugging myself up to fight this and following diet.....
