I have noticed that whenever I mix a little milk kefir in with the coffee, it's a ton easier to hold it in. I never get cramping like this, and it seems to have a very soothing and calming effect on the colon.
Has anybody had a similar experience with the addition of kefir? Is anyone (who is already accustomed to coffee enemas) willing to try this addition to see if they have a similar experience?
The cool thing is that the addition of kefir is probably very beneficial for those of us who are on abx.

Sweet! You da man!!
Everyone else thinks they're too cool to talk about enemas... Whatever.
Sometimes when I'm doing a coffee enema, I feel so good that it feels like I'm on narcotics. Has anyone else had that experience?

It's a ton easier to hold it in, but the same effect that makes it easier to hold in probably also decreases the stimulation of bile flow.
It doesn't seem to make sense to take something to achieve a particular effect, and at the same time take something else that neutralizes that same effect.

Chaps - thanks for the response.
I have thought about that too, but I couldn't figure out if a little milk kefir would decrease the beneficial effects of the coffee enemas. Do you have any data to back up your claims about decreased efficacy? I'm not challenging you - I'm just interested in learning.
BTW I add about 1/2 to 3/4 cup kefir to 1 quart of coffee.
AFAIK, from what I've read, the veins in the sigmoid colon carry everything that's there up to the liver for detoxification. If there are toxins there - it'll carry those up. If there are nutrients or medicines there - it'll carry those up. Is there any data about how milk kefir might not allow substances to pass through those veins?
If you find an answer, I would love to learn it. Thanks.

Prob makes more sense to do coffee followed by a retained one with your probiotics, milk thistle and whatever else you want to absorb.
