I am about to have a tongue biopsy to try to find out why my tongue is getting bigger and bigger... I wonder if there is any value in asking them to send some tissue to Igenex to check for Lyme or Babesia? Has anyone ever found spirochetes through a biopsy? Thank you.

I might be wrong, but I think that would be a PCR test, and I think there's a 30% chance of finding the microbes if they are present. But if the PCR finds something, it's considered very significant (there's no chance of a false positive).
It might be good to call Igenex and ask them about it. Too bad tomorrow is a holiday.

You should consider getting electrodermal screening done....a good practitioner would be able to see what bacteria or virus is on/in your tongue and which med or herb would heal it.
