I just seen my LLMD today, I am concerned that I might have Lupus. My ANA Screen was positive 1:40 with a Homogeneous PATTERN. The titer was 1:80 which states Borderline. I am not sure what this exactly means? I am really concerned. I do not have any joint pain or skin problems, my main symptoms are Brain fog, depersonalization, ringing in ears, disorientation, head pressure, no pain at all.. My doctor thinks its the Lyme.
I Believe I was bit May 30th, but Im not sure. She's going to start me on Amoxixillan and Biaxin for H. Pylori since it was present in my blood work. My CD8-CD57+ is 56?
I need helpp.. I feel like I'm breaking down.

Hi,
It looks to me like you have Lyme for sure based on your Igenex Result. I also know that Lyme can mimic many diseases so until you know for sure that you have Lupus, don't let that bother you.
Before I was diagnosed w/ Lyme, 6 Neurologists/Neuro-surgeons told me my brain lesions were actually brain tumors and I had 6-9 months to live. That was last March.
My FAVORITE verse:
Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience Gods peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT)

Lyme patients often have a positive ANA, I did. Also, I was treated with the H pylori meds in the beginning of my journey (before I knew I had Lyme). I felt like a million bucks on those meds, when I stopped taking them I felt horrible again. I was not diagnosed with Lyme until 1 1/2 years later. I always knew I had some type of infection because of how I felt on the H Pylori meds. It was a fairly high dose, maybe if I had continued with those, I would have knocked it out. Who knows.
If you were bitten in May you have a good head start. The sooner you can get on Lyme meds the better.

Most certainly lyme my dear. We've all been there. Me - 3 years ago. We've all been through bizarre diagnosis nightmares... But you'd never know I'd been sick a day in my life. You are in this board for a reason. Where there is smoke there is fire. Your Igenex test reveals smoke.
