I can't swallow pills to save my life. I have to open all my capsules and crushh all of my pills. All the supplement and antibiotics. I think Biaxin is irritating my throat any advice? I have a sore throat..I scared that the antibiotics arent working properly since I am not swallowing them but crushing them and taking them out of the capsule. Does anyone know if this is true?

I have that same inability to swallow pills/capsules. I don't crush the pills, but simply chew them as little as I can before swallowing. All the abx I have taken have worked just fine, including biaxin. Regarding irritation of throat, don't know if it'll matter, but you might try crushing less and just fast/quick/little chewing.

Oh gosh that's awful! I can't imagine having to taste some the pills especially the Tinidazole which is soo bitter! Can you try taking it w/ food?
I have the opposite problem! I can swallow pills all day long as long as you don't make me drink anything liquidy! That's when my gag reflex kicks in and everything comes back up. We just can't win can we?

I open my herbal capsules and put them in applesause. You can add a little water to make it thinner. It works well for me.
