I am on Amox and Biaxin to treat H.pylori for two weeks before I start my Lyme/Bartonella treatment. Weird thing is that I have seemed to develop a cold? Stuffy nose and sore throat with congestion. I think its a cold I was wondering if this could be a Herx? I also have right side chest pain right where my sternum is located I can't take a breath in, this symptom is new to me. I was tested for many viruses by my LLMD and apparently I have many of them (hhV-6, EBV, so many other I can't even remeber) but they are supposedly inactive according to my test results?

A bit confused, any suggestions??

Seasonal allergies?? You CAN get a cold while on antibiotics. You may need to see your GP!

I got strep throat while on antibiotics very early in treatment. We stopped the other abx so I could take one that would deal with the strep then resumed the lyme regimen.

It took 20 years to find out I'm not crazy.
New bite in 2010 pushed my body over the edge. Positive for lyme, babs, bart, and myco.
I am not a doctor and happily offer only my own opinions.
