My LLMD found a bullseye rash on top of my head in 1999 when I was first dx. I was bitten very badly back in the late 70s by many ticks.

I had another bullseye appear a few yrs ago on my arm where a fully engorged tick was attached. Today, a friend of mine was questioning the fact that a bullseye could appear after 30 yrs.

I am feeling like I was being scrutinized about my illness. I am trying not to get stressed about it, but I am annoyed. Was wondering if anyone else had a bullseye appear years after being bitten.

Thanks,

Gael

Yes in my case in Hospital when I was in IV vancomycin the rash on my leg that showed up in 2005 and was gone came up while in antibiotics in hospital.

I did not get bit in hospital , I only relapsed due to the car accident and every thing fall apart.

So yes 5 years after the bite a 5 inch rash like an iron burned my leg showed up exactly same as in 2005 and I was under treatment with IV and had fully blown symtoms of Lyme and TBD.

I have also had them show up, usually when my body was under stress.

The first time I know of was during my first pregnancy. The second time was when my body was in the process of giving out, ten years ago.

The first time (1976) I was told it was ringworm, but I had no clue how I could have gotten it.

The last one I actually showed to a doctor and he didn't think it was significant. He hasn't been my doctor for ten years!

I'm not exactly sure when I was bitten ( but I have a good idea). I had a bullseye rash appear during a herx. It was in January so I'm pretty sure I wasn't reinfected. My LLMD said you can have a die off rash.
