To all the folks who have done IV rocephin, did your LLMD say the brand name Rocephin is more effective than the Generic Ceftriaxone?

Which manufacturer of ceftriaxone (baxter, sagent, hospira, etc..) is best?

Anyone with experience, please share your thoughts. Thank you.

I never tried brand name Rocephin, was told that the generic ceftriaxone was just as good.

My favorite generic brand of ceftriaxone was Hospira. I reconstituted my own meds and found that this one was the easiest to mix. It was also priced better than most of the other generic brands.
