Hi All-

I was recently in the ER due to severe dehydration and overreacting to some thyroid medication....had tachychardia, fainting, nausea..Fun times!

That was two weeks ago and I'm gradually getting my strength back...But, the doctor prescribed Xanax to calm my system down as I get these weird waves (almost like panic) in the afternoon (never had this before).

Unfortunately, the Xanax is causing an increase in my joint pain/nerve pain and is causing me to feel weak (lack of stamina).

I have some Flexeril and was wondering if that might help with anxiety? I'd much rather take that than something that's increasing my pain...Ugh!!

Does Flexeril help anyone's anxiety? Thanks!

I don't think it would help anxiety.. don't really know. I'm taking it now for muscle spasms.

Be careful because it is VERY DRYING. I've wondered if it contributed to my possible dehydration last month.

Be careful if you're having breathing problems at night and taking Flexeril. What about Valium?
Sometimes I take the med for nausea and it helps the other too. [hi]
