So time and again I've tried different binders from Cholestromyn, Chlorela, Activated Charcoal and sure enough I start getting palpitations and the tight chest feeling.

My theory is that it's attaching to too many good vitamins and minerals and since I'm already low on those and have low blood pressure (low blood volume) it's making me feel bad.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

This is making it really hard to get rid of the neuro issues since I'm suppose to take the binders ):

Any ideas what I could do?

Thanks..

Yes it could be depleting you of magnesium.

Generally speaking though something like Activated Charcoal would relieve herx heart palps because it binds up the endotoxins.

I take activated charcoal (up to 10 capsules) on empty stomach 30-45 before a meal.

Then I eat and an hour or so after that I do a magnesium - concentrace mineral drops.

It could be that you are allergic to the sulfur in some of these binders (such as in chlorella, etc.) This has become an issue for me. I'm going back to see Dr. K next month to figure out why I'm having issues with the sulfur detox pathway (molybdenum is suppose to help, but it's not doing the trick for me). You need sulfur in order to detox, so if you are allergic to it or cannot process it, that means you are not detoxing well. Just some thoughts....

Thanks guys.

Sk8ter I'm actually not taking any magnesium right now! I've noticed when I do one capsule of Mag. I get an uneasy feeling. It's almost too much for me. So maybe I have to do just a bit.

I think I'm real sensative to things. Not sure what the heck is going on!

Canefan17. I like how you do it. I do charcoal too but I can only do half of one capsule! Can't believe you take 10! I can def. take Mag after it and see.

Tammy, do all the binders have sulfur in them?

How do you know you have issues with the sulfer pathway? I had a liver test a while back and my sulfer was way low so maybe that could be it.
