I have noticed that when I take Artemisinin, about 20 minutes later, I get a horrible bitter taste in my mouth. last for a few hours. Usually until I eat again.
Anyone else get this?

Yes. The herb itself is very bitter.

Try putting something sweet in your mouth. Sweet cuts bitter flavors, like sugar in coffee.

A little honey, maybe?

I take it in capsule form, so I was just wondering why i would get the taste after it absorbs. But, I honestly haven't tried sweet stuff. Water sure doesn't work, it makes water taste so stringent...blechhh!

Oh well I can deal with it, as long as it isn't a bad sign!

no way.... hiney maybe, but sugar is out. I can probably just deal with the taste. I just wanted to make sure it didn't mean anything was amiss.

Yep same here... I tried a piece of candy but it actually made it worse. Sugar enhanced the bitterness so don't bother!!

I took the stuff with lunch, just ate dinner and everything tastes bitter even sugarless sweet stuff and water. Is this the way it's gonna be the whole time I'm on it?
