I decided to start a thread on this for those of us who may be interested in exploring these blockages that we may possess.

I've been reading up on energetic healing and how we may be hindering our own progress and it really has been eye opening for me.

I have learned A LOT about myself and my hope is that we can all learn more about this aspect of our healing.

I know there are others on the board who do not believe this to be a problem...that this is "blaming the victim" so to speak. My hope is that I can get others to see that that is NOT the case!

I firmly believe that this is vital to our road to recovery and wellness.

I mentioned the book Anatomy of the SPirit in another thread. Here is the link.

It is an EXCELLENT book and I highly recommend it! For those of you who may not have the money for the book or have problems with reading right now, there is a series of videos you can watch on youtube titled Why People Don't Heal given by the author of the book I mentioned.

Here is the first video.

I will try to post more articles and videos that touch on this subject as I find the time. I know I have more saved in my bookmarks but I just need to find them! I'm very unorganized.

Thanks for sharing the name of this book and the link to the videos. I think there is a definite connection between emotional and energetic blockages and healing.

Its worth exploring if it can help get us back to a balanced state of health quicker.

I agree there is a connection.
There is a course I heard about in Applied Psycho Neurobiology that deals with lyme and clearing the emotions. Dr. K teaches this in Seattle every December and I am going this year. Hope to learn about the family constellations too.

Great topic, Philly

I have found that utilizing flower remedies (Bach, FES, Desert Alchemy are all especially good) I have amazing results with clearing blocks, and moving past some of the issues that are hindering me in general.

Alot of this stuff is still too "out there" for the mainstream, but I suspect that will change in time.

Thank you for this information. I believe there is a link here also. My symptoms came out during a very stressful time in my life filled with uncertainty and doubts. I am working on moving on from past experiences. When my moods are at their worst I start blaming others for me getting sick, so I know there are some emotional blockages!

I put on meditation music and a calming blend of essential oil to help me relax.
