I am in my second year of treatment pulsing on tetra.

My life changed dramatically for the better. I have limitations and know I am not well yet.

When Dr. P had to take a leave I was directed to Dr. M who spent a long time with me , ran a lot of tests. Very happy with only 1 visit.

There is a lot of brand new information on biofilm which is good news for us Lyme patients.

I tested positive for parasites and was put on Stromectol 1.5mg bid

4 days in I had enough Herxing similar to the start of ABX treatment I had to call the office

I am about to start every other day same dose.

This is going to be a long hall I am told with constant Herxing.

18 Years of the Lyme has got me pretty co infected .

I would like to hear from those who may have been in my situation then began Herxing from Stromictol or drugs used to kill parasites.

Please report posts to have them moved. I only saw this because someone else reported the post and asked for it to be moved. Thanks.

YankeeDorie

What a bummer about Dr P. I wonder if he'll be able to come back. Sure hope so.

I am also going at it now from a new angle and going after the parasites.

The LL osteopath I am now seeing feels that I need to give up treating Babs for now and go at the bigger nuisances, which makes sense.

I've done a couple of parasite cleansing in the past, before being dx'ed, and let me tell you, those herxes were no picnic.

Hang in there and good luck

Yankee, I had been seeing Dr. P as well. If you don't mind, can you PM me your docs details? Thank you.

Parasite herxes are tough. I have taken Parastroy for 1 year and still infested.

New LLMD started me on Vermox and then Ivermectin. Both are causing herxes and killing parasites.
