I always thought of myself as a rather positive person but lately I'm feeling so down about treatment and ever getting better I feel worse now on this regiment without any break then I have before.
What's the point in treating if it just makes you feel worse
How do you know treatment is working Sorry to be negative I'm just miserable right now waaa lol

My husband went thru the same feelings when he first started. Do you have a partner? Our LLMD says that everyone should have a strong advocate. Please don't quit. It is hard at first, but there is hope. You won't always feel so bad. If you felt good on treatment, then you woulding be treating what is wrong with you. Hang in there!!!!!

Write down a list of things you feel you have to offer the world.
Have SOMETHING ...other than Lyme... going on in your life.
Doesn't matter if you can only squeeze it in for 30 minutes a day in between all the other "health crap" you have to do... it's important to not lose sight of who YOU are. You are NOT the disease. The disease is only helping you morph into an even more amazing person.
You don't really ever know 100% when treatment is working.
But believe it is ALWAYS helping you get better. Wake up every morning and say I AM beating lyme. I AM healthy.
You might not feel that way, but just keep "lying" to yourself (in all actuality, you are stating the truth)We are healthy beings that haven been overtaken by invaders.
It's very hard at first for me, until I woke up one day and was like "WAIT A MINUTE!" I am a beautiful person, not weak, not sick, not hopeless.
Things are still hard some days, and I still have pain, but you have to find a way to be happy doing all that you can possibly do.
When you go to bed at night, be happy about what you have accomplished. Because dangit...we do a lot.
