i dogged out eight months of it years ago, it supressed babesia but did not cure it for me.
this time i tried it and bailed immediately, within days, because of how sick it made me feel and the toxic effect on my GI system.
i've used artemisinin instead.
it's a tough call because it is a tough disease, so you want to work with a doctor on it, for sure.
so some of your choices depend on the doc's accustomed treatment, but with babesia many more doctors are respecting artemisinin and the research behind it.
just a thought. in some cases, mepron works, but it's a long road.
then there is the point so many LL's have agreed upon, which is, if there is borellia, babesia is impossible to eradicate.
if borrelia is taken care of or reduced enough, you can treat it far easier with any method.
ugh. i'm in the same boat, just trying to figure my way too..

Mo let me know how you do on the artemisinin. I am going to discuss this with my Dr this week.
