I was feeling unbelieveably good last week, only to crash horribly after 3 days of feeling great.

super intensepressure headaches behind the eyes, stiff neck, stiff back, sleeping 12 hrs, major confusion, chills and flu like feeling.

Started a new protocol 3 weeks ago. cefdinir, biaxin, BActrim DS, Mepron. Could it be that the Mepron is fully absorbed and is wreaking havoc? It was literally at the 3 week mark that I started with all of the craziness. Prior to the Mepron, I was taking Malarone. So I thought I had already absorbed.....

Anyway, just freaking out a little, this is definitely the worst I have felt yet, and it has been kicking my tail for 4 days now!

well, Lyme patients herx every 3-5 wks... and with the new protocol you are more likely to herx harder. (any change will do that)

Sounds like you are on the right track! Do what you can to detox. Hope the herx lets up in a few days.

I am feeling pretty much the same way. Went from feeling pretty decent to a lot of my symptoms flaring yesterday and today. Haven't had a flare quite like this in a while, which I know is probably a good thing, but doesn't mean I have to like it [Wink] I am trying to increase my detoxing. Oh and I just increased my Mepron last week too so I think that has a lot to do with it. Added Biaxin yesterday in place of Zith too.

Whenever I increased my babesia medication I crashed. It brings the bugs up out of the woodwork. You are on a very strong combo. I hope you feel better soon.

There has been a virus going around though so maybe if you are in luck - LOL - you are just sick sick.

I take a lot of other stuff too, cat's claw, Artemisinin, Parasite herbs. I think I just have a lot working on me right now. It is just weird that I felt so great the few days before I got creamed.

It seems to be dying down a bit.

That was the biggest herx I ever had! Thankfully I feel completely well today. I must have hit a lot of bugs. Probably all of my infections were getting whacked at once. A good thing....

A short herx is a great sign. I expect to hear great things from you in the next few months!
