How exciting...it seems like a long time, but in our fast pace world, it will go by in a blink.
Won't it be around Thanksgiving?
Take good care and let us know!

Ok it cost $5??...can't remember..LOL..somewhere around there...not cheap...no I am not on ABX..This is a culture test. They have actually figured out how to grow lyme in a culture now which will prove without an argument that you have it. This can also be used during treatment to see if you are improving. I think they will be working on the co infections next. This will be hard for the IDSA or ins companies to refute !!!

- Alice, you asked:
" . . . But if nothing shows up, is that 100% accurate or can you get a false negative? end quote)
I don't think it's that easy. From what I gathered in a short interview clip today, presence is a sure thing but absence is not.
And, there are also many other strains to consider.
For anyone taking this blood test, it's important to be OFF ALL ANTIBIOTICS FOR FOUR WEEKS prior to the blood draw.
Dr. B just said this in a short interview session to day at the ILADS conference.
I would guess that might mean off of all antimicrobial herbal supplements for 4 weeks. Clarification would be important on that point, too.
The video stream kept cutting in and out so I don't know if he expounded on that. -

So, do you have any idea how much your insurance will cover or will they cover?
