I've had "the rash" since April. It burns like battery acid when I shower. Does anyone else have this?
I did not see a tick on my arm when rash started. I don't know if I scratched it off. But in 1997 I did have a tick on my back. Could I have had lymes since 97, or did I probably get it around April this year when rash started?
Just diagnose yesterday by a GYN that saw my rash and said it was Lymes. Te blood test came back as lymes. In the process of finding a dr

Have you posted in seeking a doctor for help finding a doc?
I didn't get the rash, you're "lucky" you got it so you got a relatively fast diagnosis.

Yes, you will have to travel. Most of us have to.
You might want to watch Under Our Skin on Netflix or Hulu if you haven't seen it yet. www.underourskin.com .... the movie will explain why your doctors didn't diagnose it.

Don't let any doctor give you any form of steroids. That includes cortisone, prednisone, etc.
Steroids make a lyme patient much sicker and it is much, much more difficult to get rid of the disease if you have been on steroids, especially more than a short course.
