Two weeks ago I added flagyl. My doctor wants me to take it two days a week,. and those two days have to be in a row
So the first week I took it Thurs-Friday.
Should I keep it that way? or is it not good to take drugs in a weekly order like that? It wont build tolerance or anything right
should i change the two days every week.
also. does the flagyl continue working after the two days. does it stay in your body for the next 5 days until you take it again? becuz i definatly feel herxy even days after taking the flagyl still. thanks!

Excellent question, i hope you get some good responses. I have been wondering this also. My LLMD has me taking it two days out of the whole month, not even every week, but then again she is pulsing.
About the resistance, my LLMD says it actually makes it harder for them to develop resistance because you hit them hard, then take it away so they think its safe, then hit em again. As opposed to giving it constantly so they develop a resistance to it.

Keep the pulsing consistent. So keep it to Thursday and Friday. Flagyl is a cyst buster, so it breaks open the cyst form of bacteria, and then your other antibiotic kills them. Over time you should feel less 'herxy' when you introduce the flagyl.

I take flagyl 2x a week too. I take it Mon. and Tues. I don't think it builds tolerance. It is just to break the cycst.
