So I am going to get my mercury fillings out.

I want to chelate but I am not a fan of EDTA. I was wondering if anyone chelated Naturally and Sucessfully??

I am going to be asking my LLMD about this on NOV 8th.

Andy Cutler is a chemist who was mercury-poisoned (by fillings, I believe) and he says he detoxified the mercury.

He advocates a VERY-low-dose-and-slow approach using DMSA and ALA (alpha-lipoic acid). DMSA is not natural but I think ALA is. He is very passionate about low-and-slow being the safest way to go so that the mercury does not just re-distribute to other parts of the body.

He has written a book called "Amalgam Illness."

I have not used his protocol but you can find people posting on the internet who have.

You can find more information at these websites:

Good luck,

Krystal

I did, but I had my amalgams out twenty years ago. I went to a biological dentist, but back then things were different than today. I don't remember what supps I used, but I do remember a couple of them - lots of vitamin C and glutathione.

More recently, a few years back, my LLMD had me chelate lead. He had me use Detoxamin, ALA, NAC, and zeolite.

I've also used some cilantro.

Chlorella is GREAT, but I'm allergic to it.

Detoxamin is EDTA in suppository form. Agree with all the other supplements you used.

I used IV EDTA with no problems. Most importantly you must be tested to be sure your kidney clearance is good and that both phase I and II of liver detoxification is optimal. If not, it won't matter what method you use.

You will become toxic and more ill.

You can try the cilantro/chlorella approach (but it would be best to be tested first, by ART or other muscle testing). Cilantro is a mobilizer, and chlorella is a binder (plus it's a super food, packed with nutrients).

Good luck.

They are good for some things but Liver function tests don't tell the whole story.

Yellow Dock ROOT and also Spirulina can be helpful support for a detox protocol. Just cross search Google.

Even if you use "natural" items, it is very important to have professional guidance with a LLMD or LL ND or someone similar. Heavy Metal Detox is a very tricky thing.

I am very chemically sensitive and I do very well with low dose of DMSA. I did not do well with Detoxamin but others have.
