Hello:

Just wondering if anyone has ever actually herxed after starting an immune supplement. I just started IAG from Biotics Research and another one from them that is supposed to help with brain function about 5 days ago and I could swear I am herxing. My brain fog and other leg symptoms seem worse than theyve been for a while. It is probably a good thing.

I started transfer factor and have not herxed on it - at least not yet.

But when I was taking low dose naltrexone, which stimulates the immune system, I herxed so much I had to quit it. I think that is what was happening to me and not a reaction to the drug itself. It seemed to be bringing bart and borrelia out.

I had symptoms I had not experienced in a very long time including muscle twitiching, pain in shins, headaches, urge to urinate all the time, consitpation and muscle pain.

When I quit it, it pretty much cleared up. I need to start it again.
I want to make sure my kidneys get a break first to be sure they are not affected.
