My friend has been experiencing mysterious bruising, frequent (but not severe) bloody noses and bleeds easily. Our LLMD doesn't seem concerned or seem to have much to say about this.
Could this be a symptom of Lyme, Bart, Babs or another infection or perhaps a side effect of a drug? Or perhaps it is due to a non-related problem? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks Bea, we'll ask the doc to order some lab work to check it out.

Bruising, spontaneous as well Purpura Petechaie, Ecchymoses Nosebleeds Bleeding gums, bruising or lesions in mouth Fatigue Increased weakness
I experienced this as well, and was the result of hemolysis of RBC's resulting in decreased platelets. Testing to start the process of identification as to the cause would be a CBC.
