ya'll know i'm down with pneumonia, sinus and ear infection right now. great....i'm on ceftin 500 twice a day for 10 days. at about day 4 right now. have codeine cough syrup but can only take about 1/4 teaspoon cause it makes me so sick.
i'm sure i have a ton of parasites as i had a lot of small pinworms, the rectal kind, when i was a child. can't remember the treatment tho but i was always being treated for them. so yeah i'm sure i've got something.
can you recommend something very very gentle that will work for me? i react violently to everything. major herxes.
i don't mind the expense if it will work.
i have one trip coming up to tulsa on the 11-13th and then i'm home until april. no more travelling for me.
i have two bottles of fungal defense? would that do anything?

randi,
If you start with either Parastroy or Humaworm or one of the other antiparasitic herbs, you can start with the lowest dose and open the capsules and mix it with some applesauce.
You can then just take a little with meals each time and see how you react.
This way you can do as little or as much as you want. I have suggested this before, but don't remember if you tried it this way or not.
This is the gentlest way i can think of for you to start. I think it would be very beneficial in the long run if you treated for parasites. Thoughts?

That's what I'm saying... even a tiny amount sets you off.

randi,
What exactly happens when you take anything? If you're loaded with parasites, which I have suspected for a long time because of what you have posted, not treating is not a good idea.
You can take an eeny meeny dose the way i suggested. What do you think?

Have you tried salt/c? I haven't done that yet so not sure how strong of a reaction one can get..
Maybe that might be easier on you since you can put a tiny tiny amount together and then ramp up?

Lymetoo,
I know you are caring but diverticulitis is because the parasites are damaging the bowel walls. There are articles in PubMed that now they think appendix problems are also parasites.
Tiny is 1/16 in a glass of water and only drink half of the glass over the day. Lots of fluid and maybe only soft food like cooked potatoes...
Have the flagyl at home so you can take it immediately if you get div. like pain.
Use the mag phos 30 C for pain.

Wouldn't salt/C be a bad idea for someone with high blood pressure?

I think your best bet is to try Gael's idea. Just the tiniest dose and stay at that for a week or so and see how you do.

Maybe try a tincture? There are several that contain black walnut, artemesia & cloves. You can just start off with 1 drop & go from there. It might be easier than a capsule.
Just type - anti parasite tincture - into Google & you get a bunch.

You can make an abx cream of your abx capsules and apply it on the very spot on the skin where your diverticulitis always starts and do that for the length of parasite treatment.
