How many find anxiety meds helpful? I have been on xanax for a few years and find it has been a very good medicine for me.

Also when my sinuses/allergies act up my anxiety / depression goes through the roof..

When my sinuses/ ear issues are doing ok so is my anxiety.. Anyone experience this?

I know xanax has a bad reputation but I have nothing but good to say about it..

Tks.

I would say -use what works well for you. There are many natural remedies spoken of on here and people also use abx.

I don't have a medical background, but I believe in our own selves lies instincts that can help guide us.

I have taken xanax for the past 13 years, the lowest dose. I have no problemw with it and see it as important to my health as my asthma & thyroid medication.

I have taken lexapro, then xanax as needed over the past five years. Both have helped tremendously. As my health has improved, I have needed progressively less xanax so that I take maybe a total of .50 mg in a week or two.

I have also been able, finally, to exercise vigorously 7 days a week, which in turn has really helped with my remaining anxiety. I wish I had pushed the exercise earlier, I believe it REALLY helps .
