I am being treated for babesia with ABABS, and just these past 4 days, I have begun to have really achy legs. I spoke with my Dr and she did not seem to know if this was due to Babesia. Did anyone else have this when treating for Babesia? If so, any suggestions for what to do to make it better? -------------------- Symptoms started summer 2007 Diagnosed CDC verifiable 01/2010 Stopped treatment summer 2011 Treated Babesia Sept.2011-March 2012 Lyme disease free Diagnosed with mold sickness March 2012 Almost symptom free, still experience fatigue

Welcome to LymeNet! My theory... no science to back it up, just achy legs.... The babesia, when dying off, causes the cell it is in to die too.... cells that would carry O2 and nutrients to the rest of the body. The lack of nourishment/O2 causes the cramping achy feeling. You might want to do some toxin removal? I have no clue if it will help, but if they hurt like mine did, I'd try anything. You might also want to soak in a tub of warm/hot water with epsom salts to soak the legs. The magnesium in the salts might help? Here is a link to review... https://sites.google.com/site/virginialyme/jarisch-herxheimer-herx Good luck! --------------------www.TreatTheBite.com www.DrJonesKids.org www.MarylandLyme.org www.LymeDoc.org
