Wondering if anyone can shed light on this. Pain under my right ribcage was one of my first Lyme symptoms. Now, when I herx, it comes back and always freaks me out, so I get my liver enzymes tested and they are normal.

A friend told me "Lyme loves to attack the liver/gallbladder area". I wonder if this is true?

I have had gallbladder pain/spasms before, and this pain in my liver is related, but it is also larger and seems to cover my entire liver area.

Antibiotics especially cause it, which makes me worry about my liver enzymes, but they come back normal.

Should I worry about damaging my liver even if all the tests are normal? I'm on Rifampin, Doxy and Tinidizole right now, and I know Rifampin in particular can be hard on the liver.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated...
