I received an email about this, and was SO happy and excited. First thing I told my husband (who has lyme) when he woke up today.

This is nice...

"The spot will run every 20 minutes for 3 months."

Here is a link showing the jumbotron.

http://www.microfirst.com/index.php/timessquare/cbsjumbotron

More info from ILADS....

"The giant video screen is 26 feet tall and 20 feet across and is strategically positioned at 42nd Street between 7th and 8th Avenues in New York City. The spot will run every 20 minutes for 3 months.

It is estimated that 1.6 million people pass through Times Square each day. The spot will remain in place during the Thanksgiving Day Parade and New Year's Eve celebration for bonus exposure."

coffee,

I read that if you take a picture of yourself under the sign you can send it to ILADS and they will put it in a gallery of some sort?

Be sure to not release any personal info if doing that.

I got laughing a minute ago.

We ought to get Toby Keith to stand under it and sing his song, which can be a special message to the IDSA....

"How do you like me now?"

If you click on the first link posted at the top, and then scroll to the bottom...that is where you can upload your photo standing under the jumbotron in Times Square and send it to ILADS.

They add it to their gallery it says.

Maybe we should carry this around the country like Occupy Wallstreet and post signs in our own towns. . . . stand under them and post your picture online.

There should would be a lot of pictures in their gallery then!

Where else could there be a gallery to post pictures? Facebook?

Yes, even one person holding an OccupyLyme sign somewhere is ok!

One of my favorite Occupy pics - a young woman, all bundled up against the cold, with her three happy dogs out in the boonies, holding a sign:

Occupy the tundra!!
