Ok, I am supposed to start Alinia 3 days on, 10 days off, along with homeopathics for FL1953. I am scared because of all the bad herx stories.

Has anyone had mild reactions or improvements from it? I have to start today because I wanted to do the three days when I don't have to work, but, of course,.I got my period, which makes me feel horrible to begin with (sorry, guys).

I'm a chicken, and am hoping for some reassurance! [Smile]

I would not start with a full dose. Start SLOW. I had a very bad reaction. Withing 2 days had uncontrollable vomiting/diahrea for 48 hours. Nothing helped until I went to doc for injection to help with nausea and saline IV to help with dehydration. My liver bilirubin went high. The following week I ended up in the ER, needing fluids again. I'm still recovering. But doing very well right now.

Some people have had almost no reaction. My husband tolerated it very well. My story was not intended to scare you, but I wanted to make the point to just go SLOWLY, then build up.

Wishing you the best. I hope it works beautifully for you.

Thanks, Tammy. I took it, because I have to do it on my days off. I hope I don't have the same reaction you had. That sounds awful. Were you taking it for Fl1953?

Thanks.

Yes, I have been taking Alinia on and off for years, many days in a row, and never had a problem with it. Not even a reaction. I think a body with a still heavy load of dental toxins and metals will not tolerate it all that well.
My hunch is that most people do not realize how loaded with toxic metals they are. It takes years to ease and bring down that load. One reason I have been stressing this throughout all the years I have been posting here.

Energetic testing, however, I think is absolutely necessary before you take it, or any other medication or remedy of any kind. Conditions can change drastically and fast if you have a procedure done that would cause unloading of toxins and that would not be the time to bring in Alinia. Or changes brought on by certain supplements or other agents.

I remember having been instructed to take it daily, but I certainly did not take it when my own energetic testing told me this is not the day to do it.

There is no other way to safely take anything unless you start to learn testing yourself by whichever means you choose. It is one of the easier things to learn! It takes a bit of concentration and patience, but once you learn, you won't be able to go through the day without testing.

I am doing extremely well and Lyme is long gone, but my tensor goes with me almost any place.
You would be surprised how many items in the grocery store or veggie department, or health food store, you will not buy once you start testing.

Not the best doctor in the world can predict how your body will respond to certain things days or weeks or months after your visit. Please consider learning to test yourself.

Take care.

Thanks, Gigi. Is this where you hold the substance and you see if hou lean towards it? Or, you try to pull your fingers apart while asking a question? Is that what you are talking about?

I've taken loads of alinia. Daily for months at a time. It helped my symptoms and I never had a hint of a bad reaction to it.

Thanks. I took two doses today, and have no reactions, yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I took it two weeks on, two weeks off, for a couple months, and then a few other stray times for a week or so. Never had a problem with it.

Good, that is reassuring that not everyone has a bad reaction. I'm on day two, and have some stomach pains, but, nothing major, yet.
Thanks for sharing your experiences.

amk33, yes, that is a way of testing. I use a tensor which is much quicker and you can test many items in a short time. I have gotten this one for family and friends
from Vern very inexpsenviely. http://phkillscancer.com/ It will do you good service for a long time, or until you lose it as I lost mine. He sent made me another one of the wood I selected, etc. He is quite a guy. A doctor friend of mine went up there with some of his patients near the Canadian border and they all got their tensors! It is so much easier to take anything after body says okay !

It is a good idea to make sure that you are getting rid of any die-off quickly. Dr. K. alwasys emphasizes colonics.

Take care.

Yes, alinia is a prescription item. Can be purchased in Canada for less.

Thanks, Gigi. I'm going to look into that because I haven't been able to master the finger method.

Randibear, alinia is used for parasites. Supposedly, people are having success with it for FL1953. It is a prescription that turns out to be a little expensive for me. I have to pay full copay for each 3 day treatment, plus the homeopathic meds.
