Brief History from my previous post:
She was diagnosed with MS 8 years back while she was in Connecticut. She was at Yale for 5 years.
She was an avid outdoors person. She used to go for walks in the trails but never had any rashes or anything associated with the tick bites.
In 2003 she had some tingling in her toes followed by Optic Neuritis which resolved in 2-3 weeks. The doctors thought it might possibly be MS.
She was fine for 4 years. In 2009 she had some stress from an incident and she started getting worse from there. She has brain fog, gait problems, spasticity in legs, stiffness, stresses easily, bukling knees, mood swings, constipation, urinary incontinence, insomnia. She can still walk short distances but having problems with balance and is very tired all the time.
Her MRI indicated de-mylenation in both her brain and spine. The neurologist thinks it is MS and wanted to start on drugs.
Any suggestions?
She is in the normal range for CD57, c3a & c4a but have a positive IGM test from Igenex does this means she does not have Lyme?
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks.

She HAS Lyme per her most current Igenex test. The IgM is Positive, bands 18, 31 & 41. The 31 band is lyme specific. Also, the Toxoplasma Gondii is positive.
She needs to see a LLMD ASAP, have you posted in Seeking a Doctor? Don't go to the neurologist & get her started on MS drugs. She needs antibiotics & anti protozoa/parasite meds.
I believe the Toxo Gondii is a protozoa/parasite?? Get her to an LLMD quickly.

we did consult couple of LLMD's already but one of them think she does not have lyme because of the CD57, c3a & c4a test results. So we are confused.
We have an appointment on 21st with other doctor (LLMD) but I want to get some information before the visit from folks here.

Coinfections (esp. Babesia) can render the CD-57 result inaccurate. The positive Lyme and Toxo. Gondii tests plus her symptoms should be enough to get treatment from a truely Lyme-Literate MD. Maybe a LL-Neurologist would be better?

Hello Skigal, I posted for the doctor and got some replies and we are following up on those leads.
MattH, Her CD57 is at 328 (normal range 60-360)and c3a and c4a are all in normal range. But she tested positive for Igenex Lyme test, hence the confusion.
