My doctor took a Lyme Titer. I've been trying to read on the boards some, but I am at the point where I can't focus for very long. Should I ask for copies of the lab work? What if he tells me "it's false"? What should I say? I had to fight him just to take the lyme test. My story is on another board somewhere. I'm sorry I don't have the energy to find out where. This is a nightmare. It hurts so bad.

Yes, you should always get copies of any labwork you have done. Get a copy of your Lyme test & post it here.

Yes, MAYBE! If it comes back positive then you can take it to the bank. Negative.. not so much!! If he says it's a false positive, find a new doctor!!! Here is Mission's story:http://flash.lymenet.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php/topic/3/29330 -------------------- --Lymetutu-- Opinions, not medical advice!
