I didn't really have any side effects from plaquenil. As with all meds, supplements - everyone's body tolerates it differently.

I have noticed no difference with plaquenil, or rather I should say the changes that have happened the last few months I have no idea if any are related to plaquenil. Ironically my joint pain is worse, which I thought it was supposed to help. Good luck with it!

I was on Plaquenil for a couple of months last Spring, and I didn't really have any problems. It didn't seem to increase my herxing.

I have the complete cocktail of Lyme, babs & bart (with babs most prevalent).

First infected in 1987, reinfected 2006.

I remember herxing, but I was on other meds too.

I am herxing now - not on plaquenil. Keep looking for the truck that ran me over and over....

Looking in my handy little medicine journal, I experienced worsening SoB, sweating, fatigue, and weakness. Oh Babs.. Good luck!
