B12 can make it pinkish. Bet that's it. (mine looks brownish/pink after doing a B12 shot)
Babesia can make it brown.

My urine was dark with Babesia. Rifampin turns it orange. B vitamins turn it orange also.
I had dark urine a few days ago that smelled like ammonia, it went away then I had UTI like problems. I wish I could help more but Im not sure.
Is Acyclovir similar to Immunovir? An immune system booster?

- If a woman, it could possibly be a vaginal discharge, spotting of some degree of a little stagnant blood mixing with urine. If that is possible, that's an easy explanation.
Otherwise, I would call Urgent Care right now.
Now, it could be the babesia - but it might not be, either. I would seek a medical assessment of kidney function tonight.
You say you used the clay topically, not internally so I doubt that urine would be affected.
Clay draws stuff OUT of the body, and for what little amount of minerals, etc. might be absorbed, it's not going to affect kidneys as if taken internally.
You say you don't think you are dehydrated but you still may be.
Not sure what "drinking water all day" measures out to be. Are you getting at least 10 glasses of water a day? With all the stuff we take, we need more water to help our kidneys.
My guess is that you went ahead and had a couple tall glasses of water right after seeing the brown urine - so the next time (soon, probably) it may be running clearer.
After considering foods, reading the fine print about each medication and OTC product (related to urine color) � and any new supplement � you might want to
call Urgent Care tonight and your LLMD tomorrow if there is no obvious thing from diet or Rx, etc.
Now, it may be no big deal but I don't think you can take that chance. A call to Urgent Care could save your kidneys if that's the reason.
Even if caused by a certain med, you may need medical help right away - see the last comment at the end of this post.
Also, if you've been fasting, excess porphyrins can be the result. You'd need to get some good food - and, if excess porphryins, some greens and bright orange vegetables are necessary.

- I suggest avoiding anything with Ibuprofen in it as that can be very hard on the kidneys. There have been instances of even a normal dose causing kidney damage in an otherwise healthy woman (and others).
Acetaminophen can be hard on the liver. -

Does seem to be running clear now. Definitely seems mot likely what you said about the supplements.
I had only had about 5 or six pint glasses of water at that point and Lord knows I'm on a truckload of supplements.
Keeping an eye on it and will give my LLMD a call in the morning.
I feel fine otherwise....(as fine as a sick person can)
As I said though I will keep a close watch.

I have absolutely no clue about the Difference between the two. Acyclovir is used specifically to treat the strain of Herpes that causes cold sore...
May be similar though in that Herpes usually show up in the sick or run down.
The one on my leg erupted within an hour of delivering my son due to the stress on my body.
That being said, seems to me it would be simmilar. But I don't know. I'm going to look it up.

Thanks! I have to take Immunovir for my virus load and don't know much about it. Have you had any side effects or problems with it?

Hey Lucky,
Also check your CMP test liver enzyme levels (ALT and AST). My urine was also getting darker over the last few months My ALT level had been rising in last my two labs to a point where my doc took me off all ABX last week.
Within a few days after stopping ABX my urine was back to normal color. I should have my latest labs back today to see if ALT is back within the good range, and see if this theory holds water (no pun intended) 8^()
