So, after slamming babs for 9 months with high dose malarone/mepron etc, we decided to stop it to see if it is lyme that's left or still babs.
I stopped babs meds on Sun.
Yesterday I had horrible nausea, some fatigue, and today I felt like it's hard to hold my head up.
I also got my period. Wonder if I could relapse this fast with babs, or it's a lyme herx? (I also started pulsing tini 6 weeks ago)
I haven't had the severe nausea in a while-or the neck thing since I first got sick 9 months ago.
Don't know if I should hop back on babs meds, or wait a week or so. (The original plan was to wait 3 weeks)
Help-we are also suppose to go away this week!

That sucks. I know the feeling oh too well. I stopped mine on Monday and had similar symptoms today. I pulse, 3 wks on, 1 off, so I expected this.
What did your llmd say to do if your symptoms came slamming back? I can't imagine that you'd have to suffer for 3 weeks.
Do what Six did. Get some tonic water (the good stuff from whole foods).

I had a similar experience when I completed my mepron treatment a couple of weeks ago, particularly with the neck pain and nausea -- symptoms I haven't for months. It has gotten a little better but I have yet to shake it completely.
