I'm losing some weight. Well, OK, at least I'm not gaining any. And it's not a thyroid thing. No lumps in the thyroid area. But my neck is disappearing from the top down. I'm getting a waddle under my chin and the line from my jaw to my shoulders is becoming straight. Ugh! Where did my pretty, feminine neck go? Any ideas?

hens,

Mine went also...several years ago.

If you find out where they went, let me know...I'd like my old neck and jawline back. [Wink] [Big Grin]

Excuse me, dear Dek, but you have a lovely neck! But if I find an extra one, I promise you'll be the first to know!

So you don't think it has anything to do with anything? Just age maybe? But I'm only 45... [Frown] I just never thought I'd be getting jowls by 45.

hens,

Thanks so much, but I would say my jowls started drooping around age 45.

I find if I smile, it pulls them up...so just smile, it's cheaper than a chinlift!!!!!!!!!! [Big Grin]

Iodine deficiency? My neck has always been like that ... iodine seems to be helping, but the jury is still out.

I think it is a bit of "palsy" the disease where the flow is blocked.

I think our nerves in the face are blocked from little nodules etc.or inflammation.
I managed to get one side better with drops of reishi aand now I look funny.

When you do a thermagram you might see the difference in the color and that parts of the face are too hot.

Google about the nerves 7 and 8 in the face which are holding the skin.

Or could the swelling be from glands or lymphnodes which have to digest the bacteria and parasites? Lymphomyosot should work.

Wait, it gets worst the older you get.

Everything starts drooping. Guys are not immune, either.

Tutu, haha! I'll keep my eyes open for a comb on top!

Dek, (((hugs)))

Dogs, yea for photoshop for sure!!

Six, Iodine? Hmmm, that's interesting. I'm up to 6 drops of Lugol's 2% with no reactions, no extra energy, no nothing. I put iodine on my arm today and 12 hours later it's barely visible but still there which is better than before. I guess I'll keep going higher.

Karen, that's interesting too. I will check that out, thank you.

Elaine, oh joy.

On the bright side, I went out for dinner with a high school friend last week and she told me my skin was great, no crow's feet. That was nice, especially since she's a beautiful 45 year old billboard model (for Hospice) with a lovely neck. [Smile]

I'm taking Lugol's internally. Even my husband had a healing reaction to starting it and he never had Lyme!! So strong!! I think it was a heavy bromine detox for him from all that Mountain Dew he used to drink.

The way I said it was unclear. I'm taking it internally too. I just put it on my arm once in a while to test how fast I absorb it.

What was your husband's healing reaction? The drippy nose? How much iodine was he taking?

(no need to reply until after the holidays...Merry Christmas, All!)

Yes, headcold like symptoms for hubby. 3-5 drops. I'm taking 3 drops and seem to be retracing a virus .... and bone pain. The first time in many months I've retraced/had a healing reaction. I also had the headcold symptoms.

Tutu, horrible. You mix it with water and it's not too bad ... I've had worse.

Interesting. Hen you take already 6 drops without reactions? No fatigue or irritated? I will start internally now and let you know.
Have you ever tried MMS internally?

Lymetoo,

I have Lugol's. I put it in my decaf tea and can't taste it.

Start slow with the iodine. I use less potent drops from Biotics Research called Liquid Iodine Forte. Apply drops directly in mouth and the taste is not as bad as Lugol's. Lugols is much stronger and I would not start with it. I started with 3 drops of the Liquid Iodine forte and am up to 15 drops over a 2 week period. That is the equivalent of less than 1 drops of 2% Lugols.

Take your vitamins several hours away from the iodine including any iron. Packs a diarrhea punch for me.

Also, iodoral is more expensive than Lugols or Biotics Research and very strong, but easier on the tummy--capsule or pill form.

Also, for those who don't know--do not use the antiseptic iodine internally--posionous.

Go figure! If you had to have two of something, why couldn't it have been a second head (with a brain) instead of a second neck?
