Geesh... never heard of Botox for pain....Botox is a bacteria..

My 2 sons and I have had great results with Botox.
My youngest son had a severe, unrelenting headache for over 12 years. Several things help reduce the headache, but Botox injections in his head, neck, and shoulders finally got rid of the headache. He hasn't had any side effects,
Botox is often used for pain management.

It's used to paralyze muscles as well, for various medical applications (such as large muscle spasms).

i can't imagine tho, a lyme patient getting something made out of poison into our systems.
seems like it would really make things much worse.

gee guys, according to the IDSA antibiotics are considered poisons too . Yet we take them.
Read you're RX pamplets, you'd be shocked how dangerous the "poisons" you're putting in your bodies.
I have just started getting Botox done for extreme leg pain/muscle spasms.
It is wonderful and not addictive like the "poisonous" pain killers we painful lyme people take.
The botox is "dead" just like the bacteria /viruses in a Rabies vaccine - measles/mumps vaccine, etc. No mercury in it either.

i don't take any vaccines. Thought we weren't supposed to. And I guess abx could also be considered poison

I have used botox for many years to control muscle spasms in the face and neck. It works, is very localized and has far fewer side effects than antibiotics.
It helps many people with pain because of the muscle relaxing effects which last for several months. I get injections twice a year to manage muscle spasms that I believe are due to damage from Lyme.
